Day 35 – From Yosemite to Southern Nevada

Well, the clouds rolled in once more today. The West entrance to Yosemite dumps you into Yosemite Valley, which houses many of Yosemite’s more iconic features, including El Capitan:

Though, if I fell off El Capitan, I don’t think Spock would be around with a pare of jet boots to bail me out. Hmm… I could really go for a marshmelon.

On Palaces and Prisidios

I’ve got another pile of photos, so I figured I’d better toss out another update while I have the chance:

In Mitchell, SD, they have the Corn Palace (hit up this earlier post for the lowdown). Not to be outdone, Daly City (just south of SanFran) has the Cow Palace:
